A couple weeks ago we celebrated Jeff's 28th birthday! He is not the big party, celebration type and was totally okay with a special date night planned by me. I let him choose where he wanted to eat, which of course was Hideaway Pizza, then the rest of the night was a surprise! Once we finished our delicious pizza, we got in the car and I blind-folded him for the venture to our next location!
Jeff spent the next 30 minutes trying to guess where we were going and what roads we were on. He guessed the roads up until we got to downtown. I drove around a little extra to confuse him and it definitely worked! Once we were parked, I told him to take his blindfold off, he was very confused to find us sitting in the Bass Pro Shop parking lot. (This is one of the few places that has free parking downtown and it was the only reason I chose this lot:), it definitely threw him off! We headed off to the canal and he kept trying to guess where we were going. I had fibbed to him earlier in the day and said we were going somewhere he had never been before which ended up not being the case. Unlike nosey me, he is very easy to surprise because he didn't even think it was odd that I kept pulling out my phone to check directions to make sure I had us going to the right place. We ended up in front of Red Pin Bowling Alley and I said well, here we are! Anyone that knows Jeff knows that he LOVES bowling, so this was the best surprise I could give him. We walked in and I walked right past the hostess at the front, he was very confused but it happened so fast that he didn't have a chance to say, wait! We rounded the corner and 15-20 of his closest friends were there yelling surprise! He was shocked and we spent the rest of the night bowling with great friends! I love being able to pull off a surprise especially when it makes him so happy!!!
