It's Not All Work and No Play...

During the last six weeks, I did manage to squeeze in some fun times with family and friends during the summer associate craziness!!!

First off, my parents came in town to celebrate Jeff's birthday, my Mom's birthday and Mother's Day! (All a little late)

Jeff was beyond thrilled when he opened up his presents from my parents and found the Ralph Lauren glasses that he has been eyeing.

We celebrated by going to dinner at one of our favorite restaurants, Cheever's Cafe. It was delicious as always!!!

While they were in town, Charlie jumped off the couch and dislocated his knee. We had to wait for the swelling to go down but a week later, he had surgery. He didn't let it phase him too much but it was sad watching him hop around on three legs. He is back on all fours and loving chasing anything and everything in sight!

We headed to Arlington to celebrate with some of my closest high school friends the upcoming, as in Lincoln is being induced tonight, arrival of Valin Marks Harris. I could have spent so much longer with each of the girls!!! Love them!

Isn't Lincoln beautiful?! And, she made her dress.... that girl has skills! None of us are surprised that she is the first Mommy to be of our group, she was born to be a Mother and when asked what she wanted to be when she grew up, Lincoln's answer was, "a Mom"! So glad her dream is becoming a reality within the next day!!!

On our way out of town, we stopped by La Hacienda Ranch for some quality fajitas with the fam!

Headed out for a much needed and enjoyed date night!!!

Esther and Matt got married and she could not have been any more GORGEOUS!!! Matt's Dad performed the ceremony and it was one of the most beautiful, most meaningful ceremonies I've ever witnessed. Very few dry eyes were in the crowd.

We LOVE weddings... well, at least I do... ha!

Last but certainly not least, we celebrated Jeff's step-sister's Bridal Shower. Nicole, my SIL, me, Ashley, Step-SIL and Dottie, Step-MIL! We can't wait for the wedding in August in the Dominican Republic!!! It will be a family affair! I'm the wedding planner, Nicole is the photographer and Jeff's brother, Jeremy, is performing the ceremony! It is going to be a wonderful occasion! I'm so blessed to have these wonderful sisters!!
